A unique experience
Pliny the Younger from Russian River Brewing Company is a Triple IPA that you don't come across every day. With an alcohol percentage of around 10.25 percent and an impressive amount of hops, this beer is known for its pronounced bitterness and rich aromas. What is really striking is that the taste remains surprisingly dry despite this. This combination of strength and drinkability makes it a special experience for lovers of intense beers.
Origin and history
This special creation was first brewed in 2005, as a further development of the equally famous Pliny the Elder. Since then, the recipe has remained largely the same, but the hop varieties are carefully selected each year based on the best harvest. In this way, Pliny the Younger retains a recognizable base, while it turns out slightly differently each year.
Rarity and exclusivity
Pliny the Younger is only brewed once a year, which makes it even more exclusive. With each release in California, collectors and beer enthusiasts from all over the world line up to get their hands on a bottle. It’s a craft beer that you really taste for the experience: full-bodied, intense, and with a long-lasting finish. If you’re into IPAs or are simply looking for something really special, this is one you don’t want to miss.
